If you haven’t seen the Lonely Island videos yet I recommend you check them all out. Here are just a couple of my favorites, Threw it On the Ground, Jack Sparrow, I Just Had Sex, We’re Back and I’m on a Boat! Woo!
Celebrate the Holiday with ShortWave: David Lynch

Well this isn’t all Lynch exactly. The first is what A Goofy Movie could have been like, if Lynch had his hand in it. Then a cigarette ad, and then the man himself talking about Mullholland Drive.
Celebrate the Holiday with ShortWave: Alfred Hitchcock

Still going strong! It’s afternoon now, and we’ve still got a ways to go! So how about a little Hitchcock? Rear Window in 5 minutes? The Birds in 1:40? And an interview? Yes please.

Celebrate the Holiday with ShortWave: Kevin Smith

A couple of videos with clips of movies by Kevin Smith. One is a history of Jay and Silent Bob and the other is the outtake from Dogma where they perform the Fat Albert Theme. Enjoy!
Celebrate the Holiday with ShortWave: Heliotropes

Been listening to these two songs from Heliotropes a lot lately. I think this band is great. And take a look above: they bat the cycle. You never see that in a stoner rock band. Actually, you don’t see many all-girl stoner rock bands, mostly dudes with mustaches. Love it.
And now to utilize the Bandcamp embed function, which I just discovered and think is the greatest:

Celebrate the Holiday with ShortWave: California in a Bottle or Message in a Dream
Friday, April 20, 2012
written by: johnnytigs
I was originally going to find a bunch of Mamas and Papas covers for this post specifically because the Hi-Standard cover of California Dreamin’ is one of my favorite covers of all time, but then I really wanted to hear LeatherFace’s Message in a bottle. And I didn’t find any other M&P covers I wanted to hear. Enjoy!
